Soccer Blog - Week 16

Hello, everybody, and welcome to another episode of Super Soccer Ian. We had another exciting week of soccer, and there were some thrilling matches. Let's get started by reviewing the most recent results.

Round 15 Results

There were only two matches in the last round. DC United beat the Montréal Impact on the road 4-2, and The Portland Timbers tied against FC Dallas 2-2. Those are the most recent scores. Now, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule.

Upcoming Schedule

Whitecaps and Montréal Impact. Then, the NY Red Bulls will play Toronto FC, and the Portland Timbers will host Sporting KC. The Seattle Sounders will travel to play DC United, and the NE Revolution will play the Philadelphia Union. The Columbus Crew will face off against FC Dallas, and the Colorado Rapids will host the Vancouver Whitecaps. Real Salt Lake will play Chivas USA, and the California Clasíco will happen, as the SJ Earthquakes host the LA Galaxy. The Montréal Impact will then host the Houston Dynamo. Those are the upcoming fixtures, and now, let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips.

MLS Fantasy Tips

Because this is a double-game week, this gives you chances to get lots of points. One player that I was thinking might be good for your team is Pedro Morales. He has a double-game week, and I think that he may be the man for the job. He isn't priced super high at $8.8 million, but his price will rise, so get him on your team while you can. Another player that would be good for your team is Lamar Neagle. Because Obafemi Martins will be out with a suspension, I think that he may be the goalscoring threat for the Sounders. If not him, then for sure Kenny Cooper. If you want a DC United striker, then I suggest getting Luis Silva. Fabian Espíndola is reportedly out for roughly six weeks with an MCL sprain, so I think that Silva may get the start, and he had a great performance against the Impact. Plus, he's only $7.1 million! Take a look at the upcoming schedule and see which teams have double-game weeks and who's playing at home. Those are my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.

Soccer Blog - Week 15

Hello, everybody, and welcome to another article of Super Soccer Ian. We had another very exciting week full of goals and intensity. Let's get started by reviewing the results of the last round.

Round 14 Results

Things started off with a 1-1 tie between Real Salt Lake and the Columbus Crew. The next game was another draw between the Colorado Rapids and Chicago Fire. The final score was 0-0. Sporting KC beat the Houston Dynamo 2-0, and Toronto FC won 1-0 against the SJ Earthquakes. DC United tied 0-0 with the Columbus Crew, and the Philadelphia Union drew 3-3 against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Seattle Sounders won 3-2 on the road to the Chicago Fire, and FC Dallas won 3-2 at home against the Colorado Rapids. The Portland Timbers won 3-1 on the road against Real Salt Lake, and the NY Red Bulls won 2-0 over the NE Revolution. The final game of the round was a thrilling 1-1 draw between the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA. Those are the most recent results. Now, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule.

Upcoming Schedule

This is going to be a short article just because there are only two games in this next round! The Montréal Impact will host DC United, and the Portland Timbers will host FC Dallas. That is the upcoming schedule, and now, let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.

MLS Fantasy Tips

In this short round, I think that it would be best to choose the players that are playing at home. If you were to get anybody on Montréal, then I would suggest getting Jack McInerney. He's averaged about six points per game in his last three for the Impact. The main man that I think you should try and get is Fanendo Adi. In the four games he's played for the Timbers, he's gotten at least a goal or an assist in each game, and he's averaged nine points per game. I think that he's a must-have for this round. One other player that you could consider is Andrés Escobar on FC Dallas. He scored a goal in his last game, and I think that he might get the start in Portland, or at least play for about thirty minutes. Those are my tips for this upcoming round in MLS Fantasy.

Soccer Blog - Week 14

Hello, everybody, and welcome to another article of Super Soccer Ian. We had another exciting week of soccer, with a lot of exciting goals and games! Let's hope for the same this week! Let's start things off by reviewing last week's results.

Round 13 Results

The first game of the round was a 1-1 draw between Sporting KC and the NY Red Bulls. The Portland Timbers then won 2-0 on the road against Chivas USA. The Seattle Sounders won 4-0 against Real Salt Lake, and Toronto FC beat the Columbus Crew 3-2. Sporting KC fell 1-0 to DC United, and the Montréal Impact beat the NE Revolution 2-0. The SJ Earthquakes beat FC Dallas 2-1,

and the Philadelphia Union won 3-0 beat Chivas USA 3-0. The Chicago Fire and LA Galaxy tied 1-1, and the Colorado Rapids beat the Houston Dynamo 3-0. The Vancouver Whitecaps then beat the Portland Timbers 4-3, ending the Timber's home undefeated streak. Those are the most recent results, and now, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule.

Upcoming Schedule

The only team that has a bye is the Montréal Impact. Everybody else plays, and a few teams have two games to play. The first game will be a matchup between the Columbus Crew and Real Salt Lake. The Colorado Rapids will then host the Chicago Fire, and the Houston Dynamo and Sporting KC will clash at BBVA Compass Stadium. Toronto FC will host the SJ Earthquakes, and DC United will host the Columbus Crew. The Vancouver Whitecaps will travel to play the Philadelphia Union, and the Chicago Fire will host the Seattle Sounders. FC Dallas will play the Colorado Rapids, and the NE Revolution will play the NY Red Bulls. The final game of the round will be at the StubHub Center, and the LA Galaxy will host Chivas USA.

MLS Fantasy Tips

One player that I am really looking at this round is Pedro Morales on Vancouver. He pitched in two goals and two assists against the Portland Timbers, and they'll be playing against the Philadelphia Union. The Union have only won three times this year, and the Whitecaps are undefeated in their last six games. I would also suggest getting either Gonzalo Pineda or Obafemi Martins on the Sounders. They're playing on the road, but Pineda has averaged about seven points per game in his last three, and Martins has averaged about six points per game in his last three. Chicago have only won twice this season, and I think that Sounders goal scorers can get you lots of points. A couple of other players that I'd suggest putting on your team are Javier Morales and Kamani Hill. Morales is playing a double-game week against Columbus and Portland, two teams that have struggled defensively. Kamani Hill is also playing a double-game week. He's scored two goals in two games, and he, too, will be playing against two teams that have struggled defensively. Plus, for just $4.8 million, I think he's a steal. Those are my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.
