Soccer Blog - Week 12

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Week 12 of Super Soccer Ian. Last round was once again quite exciting, and there were some big wins, losses, and draws. Let's get things started by reviewing the most recent match results.

The first game of this round was a 4-2 win for Sporting KC over the NE Revolution. Then, the Columbus Crew pulled off a 2-2 draw with the Chicago fire, and the LA Galaxy beat the Houston Dynamo 1-0. Toronto FC also got a 1-0 win over the Portland Timbers, and the NE Revolution tied 1-1 with DC United. The Montréal Impact achieved a 2-1 win over FC Dallas, and the Colorado Rapids won 1-0 over the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Seattle Sounders and Sporting KC ended up tying 0-0,

and the Philadelphia Union got a 2-0 win on the road against the NY Red Bulls. The final game of the round was a 1-1 draw between the SJ Earthquakes and Orlando City SC. Those are the most recent results, and now, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule.

The opening match of Round 13 will be a matchup between the Seattle Sounders and the Colorado Rapids. Then, the LA Galaxy will play host to Real Salt Lake, and the Portland Timbers will play against DC United. Sporting KC will host FC Dallas, and Toronto FC will play the SJ Earthquakes. Real Salt Lake will travel to play the Vancouver Whitecaps, and DC United will face the Philadelphia Union. NY City FC will play the Houston Dynamo, and Orlando City SC and the Columbus Crew will clash at the Citrus Bowl. Then, the Chicago Fire will play against the Montréal Impact, and the Colorado Rapids will host the Portland Timbers. The Seattle Sounders will play the NY Red Bulls, and the NE Revolution will close the round with a matchup against the LA Galaxy. That is the upcoming schedule and now, let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips.

For this upcoming round, there are LOTS of opportunities to get points and climb higher up the standings tables. Several teams have double-fixtures, and no teams have byes. One player that I will once again recommend getting on your squad is Axel Sjoberg. He's been playing very consistently this season, and he's been averaging about five points per game. Plus, he's only worth $4.8 million, and his team has a double-fixture this week. One more defensive player to consider adding to your team is Chad Marshall. He, too, has been playing very consistently this season, and the Sounders will be playing two games this round at home. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get lots of points and make the leaderboards this round. One more player to consider getting is Jairo Arrieta. He hasn't been the strongest striker in the league recently, but I do think that DC United have a good schedule coming up, and I wouldn't bet against him getting some goals in this round based on the fixtures. Those are my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.

Soccer Blog - Week 11

Hello, everybody, and welcome back to another article of Super Soccer Ian! This recent round was an exciting one, with some rivalry matches, and some big wins and losses. Let's get things started by reviewing the most recent results.

The first match of the round was a 2-1 win for DC United over Orlando City SC. Then, New York City FC tied 2-2 with the Chicago Fire, and FC Dallas tied 0-0 with the NY Red Bulls. The Montréal Impact won 4-1 over Real Salt Lake, and the Seattle Sounders got a 2-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on the road. The NE Revolution drew 1-1 with Toronto FC, and the Houston Dynamo earned a 3-1 win over the Portland Timbers. Then, the SJ Earthquakes won 2-0 over the Columbus Crew, and Orlando City SC got a shocking 4-0 win over the LA Galaxy. The final game of the round

was a late 1-0 win for the Philadelphia Union over DC United. Those are the most recent results, and now, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule.

This next round will start with a matchup between Sporting KC and the NE Revolution. Then, the Columbus Crew will play the Chicago Fire, and the LA Galaxy will host the Houston Dynamo. Then, Toronto FC will play the Portland Timbers, and the NE Revolution will face off at home against DC United. The Montréal Impact will play FC Dallas, and the Colorado Rapids will host the Vancouver Whitecaps. Real Salt Lake will play New York City FC, and the Seattle Sounders and Sporting KC will face off at CenturyLink Field. The NY Red Bulls will face the Philadelphia Union, and the SJ Earthquakes will host Orlando City SC. Those are the upcoming matches, and now, let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips.

Because of the double-headers and some of the good matchups, I think that there are lots of opportunities to get points and climb higher up the standings table. One player that I think might be good to get on your team is Axel Sjöberg on the Colorado Rapids. He's been playing consistently lately, earning about five points per game. Plus, he's only worth $4.7 million, meaning that he'd be an excellent player to either have on your bench or put onto your starting backline. Another player to consider would be Chris Wondolowski. He's a very dangerous striker up top as we know it, and his upcoming schedule looks good. I think that he'll likely get some goals and/or assists in the upcoming games. One more player to consider adding onto your squad is Chad Barrett. He had a great game against the Vancouver Whitecaps, and he'll likely play at home against Sporting KC, since Obafemi Martins is out with a tibia injury. I wouldn't bet against him scoring a goal or maybe getting an assist of two in the upcoming matchup between the Sounders and Sporting KC. Those are my MLS Fantasy tips for the next round in MLS.

Soccer Blog - Week 9

Hello, everybody, and welcome back to another article of Super Soccer Ian. We once again had a great and exciting week of soccer, and there were some extremely exciting games to watch. Let's hope for more of the same in this upcoming round, and let's also get started on reviewing the most recent results.

The first match of the round was a 1-1 draw between the NY Red Bulls and the Colorado Rapids. Then, the Houston Dynamo lost 4-1 to FC Dallas, and Real Salt Lake tied 1-1 with the SJ Earthquakes. Toronto FC won 1-0 over the Philadelphia Union, and DC United beat the Columbus Crew 2-0. The NE Revolution won 2-1 over the NY Red Bulls, and the LA Galaxy tied 1-1 with the

Colorado Rapids. The Portland Timbers drew 0-0 with the Vancouver Whitecaps, and Sporting KC beat the Chicago Fire 1-0 in the Game of the Week. The final game of the round was a 3-1 win for the Seattle Sounders over New York City FC. Those are the most recent results, so now, let's take a look at the upcoming schedule.

The next round will begin with a matchup between the Houston Dynamo and the SJ Earthquakes. Then, Real Salt Lake will play the LA Galaxy, and Orlando City SC will host the NE Revolution. The Colorado Rapids will play the SJ Earthquakes, and the Chicago Fire will play Real Salt Lake. The Montréal Impact will host the Portland Timbers, and DC United will host Sporting KC. The Vancouver Whitecaps and Philadelphia Union will face off, and the Columbus Crew will host the Seattle Sounders. FC Dallas will then play the LA Galaxy, and Toronto FC will face the Houston Dynamo. The final game of the round will be between the NY Red Bulls and New York City FC. Those are the upcoming matches, and now, let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips.

There are some good opportunities to get lots of Fantasy points because of the fact that a few teams have double-headers this round. One player to consider getting on your team is Kendall Waston on the Vancouver Whitecaps. He will be playing at home against the Philadelphia Union, who have not been in the best defensive form this season. I think that he'll likely get a shutout, and he may even put in a set piece goal, or two. Another Vancouver player to consider for this round is Octavio Rivero. He's been scoring lots of goals for his side this season, and I wouldn't bet against him scoring in the Whitecaps' next game. He's a bit pricey at $8.9 million, but I think that he'd be well worth the price. One last player to think about getting on your squad is Sebastian Giovinco. He's a very expensive player to add to your team, but I think that his matchup at home against the Dynamo might be a great opportunity for him to add to his goal count. Those are my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.
