Soccer Blog - Week 18

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the newest article of Super Soccer Ian. The playoffs are nearing, and games are becoming increasingly important now. Let's get things started by reviewing the most recent results.

The first game of the last round was a 2-1 win for Real Salt Lake over Sporting KC. Then, the Columbus Crew tied 3-3 with Toronto FC, and the Montréal Impact got a late 1-0 win over the Seattle Sounders. The Chicago Fire tied 2-2 with the NE Revolution, and FC Dallas beat the Portland Timbers 4-1. The Houston Dynamo won 3-0 over the LA Galaxy, and NY City FC won 5-3 against Orlando City SC. DC United won 3-2 against the Philadelphia Union, and the SJ Earthquakes lost 3-1 to the Vancouver Whitecaps. Those are the most recent results, so now, let's look at the upcoming schedule.

The next round will start out with a matchup between NY City FC and the Montréal Impact. Then,

DC United will play Real Salt Lake, and the Philadelphia Union will play the NY Red Bulls. Then, the NE Revolution will face Toronto FC, and Orlando City SC will host the Columbus Crew. Sporting KC and the Houston Dynamo will face each other, and the Colorado Rapids will host the LA Galaxy. The Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps will face off at CenturyLink Field, and the SJ Earthquakes will play the Portland Timbers. The final game of the round will be between the Chicago Fire and FC Dallas. That's the upcoming schedule, so now let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.

There are no byes in this upcoming round, meaning that every team will get a chance to play and possibly earn you big points. One player that you should definitely look at is Javier Morales. He's earned 23 points in just two games, and I think that he'll definitely be able to make something happen in the next game against DC United. Plus, Real Salt Lake's schedule looks good. Another player that you should consider right now is Laurent Ciman on the Montréal Impact. He's only $7.9 million, and he's earned an average of seven points per game in his last three games. I think that he'd be a steal right now. One last player that you should consider adding to your squad is Mauro Díaz. He got ten points against Portland, and I think that he'll definitely be able to earn more points in the next few games. Those are my MLS Fantasy tips for this upcoming round.
