Upcoming Schedule
Like I said, we have a busy, busy round coming up, and there are some teams playing two games. Things will start off with the Houston Dynamo hosting the Columbus Crew, and then the Seattle Sounders will host FC Dallas. The Colorado Rapids will travel to play the SJ Earthquakes, and the Montréal Impact will play Sporting KC. The Philadelphia Union will play DC United, and the NY Red Bulls will play the Chicago Fire at Red Bull Arena. The Columbus Crew will then host the Vancouver Whitecaps, and FC Dallas will travel to play the SJ Earthquakes. The Portland Timbers will host the LA Galaxy, and Chivas USA will travel to play the Colorado Rapids. Clint Dempsey and the Seattle Sounders will travel to play the NE Revolution, and the final game of the round will be between the Houston Dynamo and Real Salt Lake. Those are the games coming up, and now, let's take a look at my MLS Fantasy tips.
MLS Fantasy Tips
Because this is a double-game week for some teams, it is a good opportunity to sign some of the big names onto your team. One player that I'm seriously looking at for this round is Brad Davis. He has made an immediate impact since returning from that ankle injury, and he has a double-game week, and even better, both of the Dynamo's games are at home. Another player that has a double-game week with two games at home is Shea Salinas. He's excellent with set pieces, and can create opportunities for the aerial threats on the Earthquakes, such as Chris Wondolowski or Alan Gordon. I think that Clint Dempsey, by now, should be on just about everybody's team. I got him onto mine against the Union, and although he didn't get a goal or an assist in that game, he's currently the hottest player in the MLS, and he has a game at home against FC Dallas, and the Sounders will be playing again on the road against the NE Revolution. Other players to consider would be Kekuta Manneh, Pedro Morales, Dom Dwyer, or Erick "el Cubo" Torres. The lists are just too long to say. Take a look at the schedule and who's playing at home, and also, consider getting the PK Takers for the teams. Those are my MLS Fantasy picks for the upcoming round.
Question of the Week:
Sounders striker Kenny Cooper played for 1860 Munich from 2009-2011. Which former NE Revolution player played for 1860 Munich II from 1999-2002?
